Electronics retailer Tran Anh Digital World Company (TAG) is seeking its shareholders’ approval to sell a 25 per cent stake to Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG), paving the way for a merger into the latter company.

Hong Kong''s Hang Seng Index (HSI) was the biggest loser in Asiaon Monday , slipping 60.11 points to end at 23,189.62, while other
markets made little headway.
Viet Nam ranked sixth among the world''s largest gold consuming countries in 2012, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP''s latest research for the World Gold Council.
The Nikkei 225 jumped a further 19.68 points today to end at 14,713.25, while the Topix Index (TPX) also added 2.08 points to finish at 1,214.44 in Japan.
Asian shares ended mixed on Tuesday. The HNX Index lost 0.03 points to finish at 63 but the the VN Index fared slightly better in HCM City, climbing 2.12 points to close on 496.22.
Despite losses on other Asian markets, shares closed up across both
floors in Viet Nam. The HNX Index rose 0.68 per cent to 65.14 points and
the VN Index gained 6.36 points to reach 521.45.
